Easter is just around the corner and I’m in the mood to step outside my usual comfort zone with a nice shade of purple. I’m comfortable with shades of brown and never use any other color.
I found this stunning eyeshadow duo by LYF makeup on ipsy and decided to give it a try. The dark shadow is in blackberry and the light color is in lilac. Both colors are colors that make me step outside my usual comfort zone so today when I try it I will go light.
When you apply shadow and do not want the shadow to be to dark and dramatic the trick is to blend and keep blending. The pictures below show my eyes after blending the shadows. It is very light but when I started the shadow was dark.
I went light with the shadow 
This eyeshadow is a lot of fun and goes on the eyelid really well. You can change from dark to light easily with blending. I give this shadow a 4.5 out if 5. I’m excited to keep exploring new looks with this product.
